I’m terribly fascinated by the events that took place during the sinking, we all think we know what happened but what if it was completely different – this idea was what drew me into picking this one up. I wanted more atmosphere, I just wanted it to be so much more. The horror aspect of the story wasn’t what I personally was looking for. However, this was something completely different from what I was expecting. The idea that something more sinister was at play during the time of The Titanic’s sinking really intrigued me. The Deep is the story of The Titanic re-imagined.
